The Origins of J’J’ LOVELYMENT

Bongani uMkhonza Mahlangu, the founder and curator of J’J', describes the festival as a "crusade" aimed at spreading the spirit of Lovelyment. "We are building something monumental," he says. "Although we're still in the early stages, the future is crystal clear. The greatest Lovelyment in our lifetime is in the making." This growing festival is not just about entertainment it's about building a community.

After the 2024 edition of J'J', organisers conducted a survey to gather feedback from attendees. The positive responses and constructive criticism have motivated them to continue expanding the festival, ensuring that each year is better than the last. J'J' is quickly becoming known as a space where people can come together to celebrate life in a unique and meaningful way.
